Vision Originality Technique ImpactI promised I'd write a critique and even though you already got two, here, I go <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/s/s…" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title=" (Smile)"/>First, I have to say (or rather repeat) that the steps of improvement that you take are huge. I'm really looking forward to what you will be doing in a few months, it is going to be amazing.
As for this piece - I'm not a big fan of steam punk, but I appreciate the idea and think you did a good job. The background, though simple and most likely the least time-consuming part of the pic, adds a very nice touch and fits the theme very well.
I also like the design of the ship's body. The size seems logical. I can much more imagine Pinkie flying around in something small than a big ship.
The (oh, my limited vocabulary) balloon actually seems a bit off. This kind of purple doesn't seem to fit the rest of the image, though the patches are a nice touch.
Overall, considering that this is your 3rd (?) "real" piece of art, it is astonishing. I'm really glad you invest more time in this now.
