A lesson in patience.Don't you know this feeling, the one that comes up every time you fail at drawing something? The voice, that orders you to put away the pencil, because your drawing is bad and you should feel bad?
Then you should continue reading.
DeviantArt is full of Tutorials which show you how to draw anything from Anime-figures to Zebras.
However, I haven't found anything that helped me "enjoy" drawing more. But now, I think I have found something useful, by accident...
Let me condense this a little: A Month ago, I came up with the idea of some sort of daily practice in drawing, because I really need to practice more. (We always need more practice, right?)
What I found was Posemaniacs.com, which offers a little Program, called 30 seconds drawing.
It shows you a randomly chosen Pose for 10 to 90 seconds, depending on your preference.
I chose to draw with 90 seconds per Pose and about 10 minutes a day (or more).
My initial goals were to train my drawing skills of course, to gain anatomic knowledge,

A lot of materials are actually slightly permeable to Helium, including the rubber we make balloons out of. As long as the balloon isn't providing too much lift already, it won't be long before it loses enough lift that it just comes back down.

Why would people want to pop the balloon? Unless the ground is, like, only just barely off-camera, this kills the pony. I mean, "wait for it to deflate" is pretty dangerous too, but it's the best out of some bad options - if you IRL try to fly around by just strapping some balloons to yourself, you're gonna have a bad time.

Just like you always did, Pinkie! Ignore the physics!

Simple and nice. I like the darker outline on the letters, and I like the simple but good clouds. Also, good impression of Pinkie's hooves dangling down. And the mixed expression is priceless. The mane and tail are gigantic, but they serve to accentuate her against the backdrop of the sky here and so work well. Well done!
